want your home, business, or property to be in consideration* for a filming location?
fill out the form below !!
we’ll reach out to schedule a legit scout to come &

** Full transparency (aka disclaimer): we are not able to guarantee that a production will select your property as a filming location. Those decisions aren’t up to us, but rather, the creative vision of each production team. Please know that while submitting your location does not guarantee it working as a filming location, it does help your property be first up for consideration!
we get it, being ‘in a database’ sounds a bit dystopian.
allow us to explain:
when a film, tv, or commercial production comes knockin’, our job is to show off the beautiful locations that oregon has to offer as potential filming locations. we want to bring production work to our local economy!!
by submitting your property, we are quickly able to suggest it as filming locations to our clients.
we maintain a private database with location photographs, details, and owner contact information
that is never shared without prior property owner permission
you may be asking yourself…
-
scouted photos, contact name, contact number, and property address. if your property is ultimately selected as a filming location, you may need to provide a W9 to be paid.
-
first and foremost, we save your contact and personal information in a password protected spreadsheet. should a project come up and your property fits 'the vision,' the photos will be sent to the creative team for consideration. the producers of the production may ask for your contact information, but this will not be shared without notifying you first.

that's totally okay! when scouting, we're really looking at a space's ~potential~ sometimes, our art department asks to hang new photos, put up new patio chairs, trade out front doors, or even re-landscape! of course, all of this is done with your permission, but with regards to these scout photos? we just need to see if we can work with the space as a whole!
-
it truly depends on the size and scope of the project itself. you should always ask what the ‘on-set crew’ size is. in our experience, we’ve seen crews from 4 people (with honda) to 200 (with amazon). you should anticipate not having easy access to your property - film crews will take as much space as you allow them. you should always have access to your property, but the times it is available might be limited due to the filming schedule. you’ll probably see a lot of folks in all-black and walkie-talkie headsets in their ears.
-
of course, you are entitled to some form of compensation in exchange for the use of your property! this is something you can negotiate with the producer / location manager of the production. fees range depending on the production's size, intention, and overall budget. a scout may not be able to provide you information on fees, as we may not be associated with the film's on-set work.
-
a production should be able to provide you a certificate of insurance as proof of their commercial general liability. some productions may also be able to offer an AIE in certain cases. you are absolutely welcome, and encouraged, to request proof of insurance and ask more about how your property is insured within the production’s policy.
